Proper preparations and caring before and after treatment will give you even better results.
Within 14 days
Apply extra moisturiser on intended treatment area.
Avoid taking any acne medications, antibiotics or aspirins. Acne medications will enhance the skin absorbency of light and may lead to pigmentation.
Avoid plucking hair with electric epilators, wax or tweezers; otherwise you have to wait for another two weeks before undergoing the treatment.
Within 1 day
You are recommended to shave the treatment area with a razor.
If you have cuts or swollen skin or experience any discomfit after shaving, please wait for complete recovery before treatment.

Do not use or apply the following on the treatment area:
Deodorant or any skincare products that contain AHAs, BHAs and alcohol.
Exfoliators, scrubs or loofah.
Hot water.
Avoid drinking alcohol.
Keep the skin dry by avoiding heavy sweating, strenuous exercise, swimming, sauna, steam bath, hot yoga and tight or non-breathable clothing (e.g. pantihose or long boots).
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, sun lamp or self-tanning products.
Wear a sun block with SPF30 or above in the daytime. Sunscreen products containing zinc oxide are recommended.
Slight redness, pain or itchiness is normal. Please apply the ointment provided to the affected area. Such discomfort should only be temporary.
If irritations persist for over one day, or blistering and scarring occur, please contact your esthetician immediately and allow the blisters or scars to heal naturally. Avoid piercing the blisters or peeling the scars.
If necessary, please use a razor to shave new hair and avoid plucking hair with epilators, wax or tweezers.
After treatment, some "black spots" may appear on the treated area. They are hairs growing under the epidermis with a thicker layer of stratum corneum. Simply keep your skin clean and let the stratum corneum to fall off naturally. The "black spots" will disappear in two weeks.
